We Are Done


You flipped when I started talking to her again.
I had been yours,
all you had to do was love me back.
Her and I wern't getting back together any time soon.
I told you many times,
Her and I were done for a long time.
You "appologized" and told me to reconsider
leaving you like I left her.
You gave up on us no longer then a day.
But before that day was over, I was gone.
Left everything. Gone.

Her and I are back together now,
and all I here is your asking about me.
"Please tell him to talk to me!" is what you say.
When I hear this, I just laugh.
You say you care, but I know you don't.
You just think you need me back.
And when I hear that you have stopped talking to my friends,
I think the war is over.
I must think again...
You have gone straight to the source.
I receive a message saying you need to talk to me.
I just delete it and laugh.
I guess you think that after this amount of time,
That I'll kiss the feet that kicked me one time to many.

You held on longer then you should have,
Believing that I would change my mind.

Like you act around your friends.
