Us
I'm over here, And you're over there,
One split into two,
Divided by miles and miles.
The distance between us stays the same,
But my love for you grows and grows.
As the seconds pass,
I long to see your face,
I long to hold you.
I reminisce of the taste of your kiss,
The feel of your lips against mine,
The touch of your hand;
They bring you close,
As close as we can be with being as far away as we are.
The wind whispers to me your love,
I tell it to relay the message back to you.
Then, at that very moment, I notice:
That no matter how near,
No matter how far,
Us, as two, will always be one.
