One More Minute

As you leave for home once more,
I can't help but think of what I'd do with
One more minute with you?

I wouldn't even think twice about turning off the cell.
Eating; it would never cross my mind.
The computer wouldn't even be touched.
And if anyone were to knock,
We'd pretend like we weren't here.

I'd hold you in my arms. I'd press my lips to yours.
A million 'I love you's would flow from my lips.
I would run my fingers through your hair.
I'd hold your hands in mine, get my eyes lost in yours.
I'd tell you how I'll miss you every second,
Until I lay my eyes upon you once more.
I'd soak up that minute, one second at a time.
